Sitting at the forefront of encouraging sustainable business, Alexandra Palt is currently the Executive Vice President of the L’Oréal Foundation and the Chief Sustainability Officer of L’Oréal. With L’Oréal, Alexandra has played a significant part of the company’s sustainability programmes, such as creating and directing Sharing Beauty With All Commitment. She has also been responsible for liaising with stakeholders of L’Oréal to ensure that their strategic suppliers are part of their mission for sustainability. Alexandra is hoping to make 100% of L’Oréal’s products have a social or environmental benefit. She is also aiming to reduce the environmental footprint of L’Oréal by 60% and provide work to 100,000 people from underprivileged backgrounds.
Throughout her career, Alexandra has also been concerned with social issues, in particular those concerning women’s and asylum rights. She was formerly the VP of Promotion & Equal Opportunities for HALDE and also took part in the Preparing Young Women to Lead programme. She also founded the Fabric of Society, continuing work as the General Manager in social innovation, change management and corporate social responsibility.
Now booked as a sustainability speaker for corporate events, Alexandra has forged a reputation for accelerating action in the sector. Having formerly spoken at the Women’s Forum for the Economy and Society, Alexandra is also widely known for launching the Women4Climate events.
