Bruce Schneier is an internationally renowned security technologist, called a “security guru” by The Economist. His influential newsletter “Crypto-Gram” and his blog “Schneier on Security” are read by over 250,000 people. He is a frequent guest on television and radio and has served on several government committees.

Bruce explains, debunks, and draws lessons from security stories that make the news. Regularly quoted in the media, he has written for several major newspapers, and has testified on security before the United States Congress on many occasions. Bruce is a public-interest technologist, working at the intersection of security, technology, and people. Bruce is a fellow at the Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University; a Lecturer in Public Policy at the Harvard Kennedy School; a board member of the Electronic Frontier Foundation, AccessNow, and the Tor Project; and an Advisory Board Member of the Electronic Privacy Information Center and VerifiedVoting.org.

His tremendous comprehension of all the criteria influencing security technology affords you the most all-inclusive analysis of what actually affects security decisions. By incorporating the economic, political and legal concerns he reveals the real factors at play in security technology.
