BYOD – Bring Your Own Divergence

In his new stimulating talk, Henri Hyppönen brings out divergence and its effects on working life and society on a whole new level. Basing his speech on the future roles of man and machine, Henri takes his listeners deeper than the surface into the world of neurodiversity. The speech challenges societal thinking about normality and encourages work communities to cherish individuals and the differences of all of us.

How can we create an individual-oriented and community-oriented work environment? On whose terms is cooperation defined? Is it defined from the point of view of an average, i.e. neurologically very normal person, if such a thing even exists, or do we have to invent completely new models for it? The main question of this keynote is to solve how we can build the work environment in a more individual-oriented way, so that it supports and serves the collective goal?

The Great Transition to Artificial Intelligence – The Renaissance of Humanity

We’re quickly moving in the direction where artificial intelligence will as normal to us as electricity; we will only notice it when it is not there. We are in the midst of change and it is time to decide how you want to participate. After all, this is a new era and a future that only we can shape. In this new era, when people have more opportunities than ever and machines are smarter than ever, the division of labor is changing permanently. What is the role of humans?

We Should All Love Problems

Not all problems are created equal. The best companies stand out from the rest with their ability to precisely find the most valuable problems from a business point of view. This commitment to value gives them a competitive edge.

Valuable problems are not always easy to find; they can hide deep in your company or the customer’s life, solutions have to be imagined, and most of the time you don’t yet have a ready-made solution in business for them. Henri’s lecture focuses on creative problem solving and inspires the listener to enjoy it, while understanding the business potential hidden in the most valuable problems.

Henri regularly speaks to companies about artificial intelligence, the future of work, business, leadership, creativity, merging human and machine intelligence, and divergence. Henri’s works focus has been to promote human-machine cooperation in creativity, innovation, research and development activities. He has coined the term augmented product development to describe this new field.

Henri has published five books, the latest of which talks about the future of creativity. He has received recognition for his work as a speaker, in the media and for his books: Speaker of the Year (Finland, 2013), Best Comedy Show in Finland (2014, 2015), Science Communication Award (2015) and Radio Host of the Year (2000). Henri has interviewed political and business leaders, artists and creative geniuses such as Arnold Schwarzenegger, Ed Catmull, Jack Welch and Will Smith to understand their most important lessons in business and life.
