Kamilla Sultanova

Kamilla Sultanova is an award-winning changemaker, TEDx speaker, event host, which you will bond with immediately. She runs ConnectUz consulting on promoting cross-sectoral collaboration, co-creation, and inclusive leadership connecting professionals in private, public and non-profit sector in Finland and beyond. Previously, Kamilla has had a successful career in global second-hand container sales in Scandinavian shipping companies including Maersk Line with a track record of opening new markets and accumulating highest revenue in the team. In her engaging talks and workshops, she draws on her personal stories, news, arts and culture to share her message. Kamilla is also the winner of MySpeaker of the Year 2023 in category Responsibility and Ethics. Kamilla is an Uzbek native with a strong Nordic edge. Moving to the world’s happiest country Denmark since she was 18 and later to a second one, Finland she has been navigating culture, industry and change from a Danish town of Herning to Helsinki. She breaks stereotypes, activates voices and passionate about making people matter, she believes seeing is believing  and we all need role models to break all sorts of ceilings and silos. With her business expertise and unique ability to unite individuals across sectors and cultural backgrounds—executives, HR leaders, leaders of countries to royalties, policymakers to everyday civilians, students to educators, and people of color to less diverse groups—she has empowered countless audiences to become changemakers in their field, inspire can do and talent management programs to diversify workplace cultures and transform lives of others through volunteering and mentoring experiences. She is part of Talent Boost ecosystem in Finland which aims to increase employment of culturally diverse talents and has during the last 2 years has created a measurable impact in the field of cross-sectoral work with Hanken International Talent program, recognized by Business Finland. As a firm advocate of mentoring and giving back culture, she is a country chair for the Finnish branch of Global Dignity, youth empowerment NGO founded by the Crown Prince of Norway Haakon and Finnish philosopher Pekka Himanen. Alumni of the prestigious networks: “40 under 40 European Young Leaders” #EYL40, German Marshall Fund Transatlantic inclusion leaders and Finnish Innovation Fund’s Sitralab changemaker academy, she shows how to collaborate and co-create in a more meaningful world. As a moderator, Kamilla Sultanova will light up the room or a webinar with contagious energy, SISU, and razor-sharp focus on the audience. Living life between two contrasting regions of Central Asia and in the Nordics, running marathons for inclusion, engaging with local youth workers and futurists on community building, she shows where growth and innovation appears – in the dynamics between people, business, and culture.
