Henrietta Moon is the CEO & Co-founder of Carbo Culture, a clean technology company aiming to draw down a million tons of carbon within the next five years. Her company has a novel technology to manufacture a biocarbon product from waste. The product is used as a platform to reinstate health and productivity to destroyed soils.
She previously founded Mehackit.org, enabling highschool students and teachers to have a hands-on introduction to robotics and programming via projects in art and music. The company has taught teachers and mentors from Colombia to Korea, and the team continues to thrive.
Henrietta is a 2013 alumn of Singularity University, and she is part of the Start X entrepreneurs community. She was chosen as an IMAGE Hero of the year in 2017 (in Finland), and is nominated as a WEF Global Shaper.
She has spoken at private events with people such as: the ex Vice President of the United States Al Gore, the President of Finland Dr. Sauli Niinistö, Nobel Laureate Bengt Holmström and Unilever CEO Paul Pollman, to name a few. She has also spoken at large events such as SLUSH.
