Themes
  • Inspiraatio & Motivaatio
  • Luovuus & Innovaatio

Fredrik Hären is The Creativity Explorer. He has spent the last 25 years traveling the world to learn as much as he can about human creativity. He is the author of ten books – including “The Idea Book” which was included in “The 100 best business books of all time”. Fredrik has been invited to speak more than 2000 times in over 75 countries on 6 continents. As The Creativity Explorer, he aims to discover more about human creativity, be it from innovators in Silicon Valley or nomads in the desert of Mongolia, to help more people discover their full creative potential.

Most sought-after keynotes:
  • The World of Creativity – What can we learn about creativity from North Korea? What about from children of sex workers in the slum of Mumbai? How is creativity different in China vs in the West? What insights around creativity did the people in Iceland pick up from the Vikings? What creativity lesson can the nomads of Mongolia gift us with? This is a speech about how we can become more creative by understanding how people in different cultures and countries around the world approach creativity in slightly – or sometimes drastically – different ways.

  • Exploring Creativity – Creativity defined, explained and demystified – We are all familiar with ”The Eureka Moment,” that magnificent instant when a brilliant idea strikes, inspired by the story of Archimedes in his bathtub. Thanks to Mihály Csíkszentmihályi, we also know about ”Flow” – the state of complete presence and immersion in a task. However, what about the other facets of the creative process? This speech dives into these creative aspects, providing names, definitions, and explanations for each one so that  we can better understand the creative process and by doing that it becomes easier for us to actually create it.

  • The Positive Spiral. Creativity & Wellbeing – Companies are pushing creativity and innovation as a way to develop new business offerings and to help their organisation better handle change – and that’s important – but creativity can also be used as a tool to increase the wellbeing of people. The sensation that we feel when we have a really good ideas is the second most enjoyable feeling in the world – after falling in love.  “The suffering, creative artist” is a myth. In fact: when people learn how to best develop their own creative skills and better understand their own creative process, they do not only become more creative, they also become happier, more harmonious, less stressed and more focused. And happy, harmonious and unstressed people have more and better ideas. It becomes a positive spiral. This speech helps you develop your organisation’s ability to understand how creativity works and you will both innovate more – and become a healthier organisation.

Fredrik knows how to craft a speech so that, let’s say, an American, a Brazilian, a German and a Chinese all will be inspired and laugh and the same time feel that they walk away from the session with meaningful take-aways that were relevant to them.

Fredrik brings forth a multitude of examples from various corners of the world, making him an ideal choice for your international conference.
