Yesmith Sánchez

Yesmith is a DEI specialist and Business Strategist with over 10 years of experience in topics such as integration of international talent, multiculturalism, multilingualism and diverse team leadership. She has broad experience building up and engaging diverse teams and communities in rapidly changing environments. She trains companies and managers on how to build better workplaces and better business by creating inclusive work cultures.

She helps companies to build DEI strategies, actions plans and to take concrete actions in a variety of different functional areas such as: Leadership, Internal Communication, and Organizational Culture. She’s passionate about art in general and about multicultural art expressions in particular so she practices different latinamerican folk dances and plays mexican folk music.

As a speaker Yesmith focuses on presenting factual and relevant information and in presenting actionable solutions to get started in the DEI journey. She enjoys engaging the audience and keeping an inspiring and propositive tone.

Before joining Inklusiiv, she has a background working in agile minded businesses and organizations advocating for diversity as a change factor. She has also supported Finnish companies and leaders in the areas of media management and business culture. She is also the co-founder of the first multicultural and multilingual children’s festival in Finland. Yesmith has participated in several forums and panels of discussion advocating for multi-stake holder solutions to tackle the topic of integration of highly qualified immigrants in Finland, multiculturalism and multilingualism.

Her passion is to continuously learn from literature and peers on the different angles of DEI and is particularly passionate about how to create psychologically safe working environments and anti-discriminatory practices.

Yesmith holds a Master’s Degree from Hanken School of Economics in International Management and Strategy.
